[Ashes Ascendancy] Thunder Suit

Introducing the Thunder Suit, a towering, armor-clad fighter supercharged with electric energy. This character was designed for Ashes: Ascendancy by Plaid Hat Games, and it’s all about raw power, heavy mech aesthetics, and a sense of unstoppable momentum.

We focused on creating a commanding silhouette, industrial textures, and glowing blue energy lines that emphasize both strength and advanced tech. In the post, you’ll find not only the final render, but also the initial sketch explorations that led to this design. You’ll see how we dialed up the weight, balance, and personality in each iteration.

Power fists, mechanical plating, and high-voltage details, everything here was designed to feel game-ready and visually iconic for the universe of Ashes.
